Chandralekha

I’ve always maintained this: Mani Ratnam + A R Rahman = Music at its very best. You can just keep listening to them over and over again. Right from Roja to Guru, their pairing is a killer combo (though Bombay remains my most favourite). 

After a lonnnnggg time I listened to this brilliantly picturized, amazingly sung song called Chandralekha from the movie Thiruda Thiruda. Here’s the song. Listen to the way she says Konjam Mirigham.. Ah! Woowwww!!!

Where is Anupama (the singer) by the way???? Someone please ask her to come back.
