Addicted to Chaandan Mein

I’ve always loved Kaliash Kher’s songs and music. And no disappointments here. This album is top notch. Brilliant and most mature music. Its Rajasthani Folk fusion and has got some amazing funk bass. Listen to this album on a lazy Sunday evening with some whiskey or wine.

Bandstand, Music, Sunset

Saturday and Sunday evenings, sometimes eventful, but most of the times boring n lame. Last Saturday was no different with me working till abt 9.30 at night, reviewing all the audit comments, filing, charges, incomes, operational costs n losses, etc… Then came Sunday. Saw this flick Juno… Ellen Page, LOLzzz.. Brilliant performance! With Ram calling me to Bandstand, I went half heartedly, coz I was still reeling under the after effects of Juno. The ride was quick and BAMMM, we were in B’Stand by 5. The scene there was bewitching! Nice breeze, the sea was full and the sun was shining away to glory! Man, the smell of sea!!! WOWW! I dont know how to choose good wordsto describe the kind of mesmerising experince that I had in the next 3 hours. We chose a good place to sit, put on our earphones n there we were! I tell u, a combo of Joe Sat, Vai, Oasis, Gary Moore, John Lennon, Iron Maiden, Dream Theatre can do wonders to soothe ur raging thoughts. Just me with Ram, my music and the sea in its full and absolute glory for 3 straight hours… BLISS! Also, we dint say a word to each other. While I understood the power of silence, he thinks its the best conversation that we’ve had in the last 6 years! Very true, I say….

A French proverb says “To leave is to die a little”… may be thats the reason why i am feeling so lonely! but its ok… somewhere a little part of me says this has happened for the better. so i guess i will heal….. i just hope i do…

Funny Man

A lot of people have told me this abt u “He seems to be a quiet n serious guy, while u r absolutely crazy!”. True.  But what these people dont get to see is how DEVILISH u can get!!!! Probably u like to keep it that way. Have shared many many wonderful moments with u where Ive laughed so much that my eyes used to get filled with tears. This still happens with me, very often. Now, I’m unable to resist the urge to put some of those pathetic jokes here.

Me: Look at Shell n Ash… They are such a wonderful couple, they eat from the same plate n share everything. Y cant u be like Shell?

U: Now, eating from the same plate… EEKSS…. that’s unhygenic. Share everything? Here’s the bill… 50-50?

Me: Hey I’ll show u one building (my intention will be that of telling u what that building is… as in my college or stuff like that) 

U: Oh, u’ll show me one building?? I’ll show u many buildings!!!!!

Me (in a romantic mood): If u wer to dedicate a song to me, which one wud that be?

U: “LE GAYI DIL MERA MANCHALI, KHALIBALI KHALIBALI KHALIBALI……

Me: Hey, u know wat, we shud take a cute romantic pic of urs n upload it on Orkut.

U: Yeah n it shud be something like I’m reading the newspaper n u r coming with a cook’s knife from behnd to chop me down… Howzzat??

Ram, I know u hate being mushy n that u r strongly against any sorta PDA. So I dont know if u’ll read this n even if u do, u r gonna say “HOW FILMY!!” Nonetheless, here’s one more:

Sometimes I feel I dont know u. But the moment I look onto ur eyes, I feel I know u more than I think I do! For those eyes make me feel beautiful!! When I’m with u, I feel eternal bliss… When I’m with u, every drop of rain, every glowing flame feels so pure…  I never ever thought I could be so in love till I met u.. N now all I wanna do is love u till my last breathe…
